Amazing Filipino cuisine in a vintage downtown LA Chinatown building (housing Howlin' Ray's and Endorffeine). Warm, colorful interior. Lots of seating, including booths. Friendly, attentive staff. Meal started off superbly with a bottle of Engkanto Honey Ale (the hint of honey at the end of each sip). The entrees that followed were wonderful: Vedge Salad, Sizzlin' Shroom Sisig, Early Autumn Pancit Canton, and Inihaw Na Panga. Easy to have conservations - quiet noise around us.
Overview
If you're ever in the mood for a hearty, flavorful meal paired with a delightful selection of natural wines, then Lasita Rotisserie & Natural Wine is a spot you don't want to miss. Located at 727 N Broadway #120, Los Angeles, CA 90012, this restaurant offers a unique dining experience that blends quality rotisserie chicken with a carefully curated wine list. Whether you're a foodie on the hunt for a new favorite hangout or a wine enthusiast looking to explore the vibrant world of natural wines, Lasita has you covered.
The ambiance at Lasita is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or a date night. The rustic decor and laid-back atmosphere make it a place where you can easily unwind while enjoying great food and drinks. The open kitchen concept allows diners to watch the magic happen as their meals are being prepared, especially the signature rotisserie chicken, which is the star of the menu.
One of the standout features of Lasita is their commitment to using high-quality, sustainable ingredients. The rotisserie chicken is cooked to perfection, boasting crispy skin on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. Each bite is full of flavor, thanks to the carefully selected herbs and spices that are used to season the chicken. If you're not in the mood for poultry, the menu also features a variety of other options, including fresh salads, sides, and seasonal dishes that highlight the best of local produce.
But what truly sets Lasita apart from other restaurants is their impressive natural wine selection. Natural wines are made with minimal intervention, allowing the grapes to truly shine. Whether you're a connoisseur or a casual wine drinker, Lasita offers a selection that caters to all tastes. From light and crisp whites to bold and full-bodied reds, there's something for everyone. The staff is knowledgeable and always happy to offer recommendations based on your meal choices or personal preferences.
A particularly popular choice among regulars is the "orange wine" category-an increasingly trendy option for those looking for something a little different. These wines are made from white grapes that undergo a longer fermentation process with their skins, resulting in a unique flavor profile that's both fruity and earthy. It's a great match for the rotisserie chicken, bringing out the savory notes in the dish while offering a refreshing contrast.
As for the sides, Lasita doesn't disappoint. The roasted vegetables, often paired with the rotisserie chicken, are another highlight. Whether it's crispy potatoes, seasonal greens, or a tangy salad, each side complements the main dish perfectly, adding texture and balance to the meal.
Customer reviews often rave about the friendly service, which adds to the overall dining experience. The staff is attentive, yet not overbearing, making sure guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their visit. The attention to detail, from the food to the wine pairings, is clear, and it's easy to see why Lasita has earned a loyal following in Los Angeles.
For those planning a visit, it's worth noting that Lasita can get busy, especially on weekends, so making a reservation is recommended. The location is convenient for both locals and tourists, nestled in the heart of the vibrant downtown area, making it the perfect stop after exploring the city.
In terms of pricing, Lasita strikes a great balance between quality and affordability. You get the experience of fine dining without the hefty price tag that often comes with it. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and wine on offer.
Lasita Rotisserie & Natural Wine has managed to carve out a niche for itself in the competitive Los Angeles food scene. With its focus on rotisserie chicken, natural wines, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it's easy to see why it's become a go-to spot for food lovers and wine enthusiasts alike. If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by for a meal you won’t soon forget.

Nice restaurant that served Filipino food with a twist. Their menu is a little limited, but they have special dishes depend on date. However, the food taste great, a bit on salty side of thing.
Excellent pork, chicken fat rice, and pavlova! Service was good and servers were knowledgable. Nice vibe and location.
Lasita in Chinatown is a masterclass in effortless dining. The seasonal menu, though concise, feels like a curated journey through Filipino flavors, making decisions refreshingly simple—there’s no wrong choice here. Each dish is a revelation. They are each a centerpiece of a menu that celebrates bold yet balanced flavors. The sides are just as compelling, each bite offering a vibrant contrast that elevates the meal. The natural wine selection is thoughtfully paired, showcasing bottles that complement rather than compete with the food. The space itself mirrors the menu: approachable yet sophisticated, buzzing with the energy of diners who know they’re somewhere special. Lasita is a place where every detail—from the menu to the ambiance—feels deliberate yet unfussy. It’s Filipino cuisine at its finest, served with a warmth and precision that make you want to linger. A true gem in Angeles.
Stopped by here on a whim and was definitely NOT disappointed. Food, drinks, atmosphere, service. We kept ordering because the food was so good. Pork belly and chicken rice . I’ve yet to taste anything as life changing. We also really enjoyed the natural wine selection and the sommelier who helped us find the perfect wine to pair.
Such an amazing spot. Quality food, best wine and vibes are immaculate. Make space for dessert. Make a reservation.
can’t say enough good things about Lasita in Chinatown, LA! From the moment you step in, the vibe is electric—lively, welcoming, and effortlessly cool, like a neighborhood party you’re thrilled to be invited to. The space itself is gorgeous, with its warm, sunset-inspired decor and a breezy patio that’s perfect for soaking in the atmosphere. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The chicken inasal is a revelation—juicy, bursting with lemongrass and garlic, and that crispy, golden skin is pure perfection. Paired with the garlic mojo and spicy salsita, it’s a flavor explosion I’m still dreaming about. The pork belly lechon is just as incredible—rich, tender, and aromatic, with a crackling skin that’s to die for. We also tried the mushroom sisig, and it was a surprising standout—decadent and packed with umami, proving you don’t need meat to steal the show. The sides, like the garlic rice and pickles, tie everything together beautifully. The natural wine selection is spot-on, and the staff’s recommendations elevated the whole experience. They’re so friendly and attentive, making sure every detail is perfect without ever feeling overbearing. Lasita’s no-rules approach to dining—order what you want, when you want—makes it feel so relaxed and fun, whether you’re solo or with a group. This place is a gem in Chinatown, blending Filipino flavors with LA flair in the most delicious way. Five stars aren’t enough—Lasita is a must-visit!
